hi friends! we’re back on EST this week and it’s starting to feel like spring (kind of). there were a lot of things that made me not sad this week, so that’s nice. i hope it makes you a little less sad, too.
in my never ending quest to dress like an effortless french girl (see here), i have succumbed and purchased this bag. nothing super novel, but extremely versatile and understated chic. there is a zara version and it’s not saving you much on price, but the shape is nice.
this book has a page for every day of the year with anecdotes and isms centered around wisdom. call this a life hack i guess, but i’ve been reading a page every morning and it’s a nice way to start the day. this version makes for a nice gift. stay enlightened, friends!
i am fully obsessed with any and all kinds of oil, but this one currently takes the cake. i loathe feeling like my skin is stripped after a shower so i added this into my routine and it is heavenly. first of all, i smell amazing lol. but second, it’s luxurious and moisturizing and makes me feel like i’m in a spa and not my dinky nyc bathroom. 10/10 would repurchase.
i tend to hate denim dresses as they give me 90s art teacher vibes (no offense), but this is not your average. also, this is definitely not a dress, but i will be wearing it as such regardless. i’m seeing this silhouette everywhere - like this mango jacket version that will be sold out soon.
so the thing that made me the least sad this week was a visit to my new favorite place in the world. words and pictures cannot do it justice so i won’t try, but the sea ranch lodge is where i want my ashes scattered (mom please note). until i figure out how to blow up the above picture and hang it in my apt, i purchased this as a memento and have been poring over the pages.
things i would like to buy but won’t:
i’m here for everyone and their prince tennis collabs. it’s not the first one for sporty & rich, but i’m back on my racquet sports game so it's exciting me again. i want the racquet.
i’m not going to buy this hand knit cardigan, but it’s gorgeous and you should.
i have a thing with cherries so i want one, but it’s unnecessary.
h&m leset dupes. i actually did buy the long sleeve.
i’m in my hat era.
